Summary: Starlight Dancers, created in June of 2010, was originally inspired by girloftheyearstudios (on YouTube) Star Quality (was was unfortuantely cancled in the beginning of the second season) It starts as Asha (Christina Maxwell), Meagan (Maggie O'Connor), Cara (Mia St. Clair), Alyssa (Paige Hamilton), and Anna (Ruthie Smithens) express their passion for dance through Starlight Dancers. Their dance instructor, Ms. Aubrey (Julie Albright), announces their acceptance into the Ember Middle School State Finals and Meagan and Asha both want the part as the soloist in their dance routine. That's when the tension grows and the show takes a rather dramatic twist.

Current Standing
NOTE: Do not read this if you haven't yet watched the Starlight Dancers episodes and do not want to be told everything. (watch for best experience)
(Ep. 1) Meagan and Asha are both determined to get the roll of the soloist. (Ep. 2) During their dance routine, Megan trips Asha on purpose causing her to break her ankle. (Ep. 3) While she can't dance, Asha finds a way to occupy herself by creating a Starlight Dancers poster. (Ep. 4) Asha presents the poster to everyone and Meagan accuses Asha of being an attention seeker. Cara, who is Meagan's best friend, says that Asha is acting like the better friend which leaves Meagan hurt. (Ep. 5) Meagan and Cara make up and start hanging out. Thrilled, Meagan is very happy only to find out that her parents are getting divorced. (Ep. 6) Meagan moves with her mother to York, Maine. She has to quit the Starlight Dancers. (Ep. 7) Asha gets a glimse of one of the rival teams, the Gold Sparks. (Ep. 8) All about Alyssa. Alyssa feels like she doesn't get to spend much time with her hero. Her mother. (Ep. 9) Season Finale! Cara gets a chance to attend the Boston Performing Arts school. It's before the Ember Middle School State Finals. (sectionals) Does she take it?
